Originally from London, Tracey’s journey into Pilates began while living in Hong Kong in 2005. With a background in finance, she discovered Pilates as an essential tool for sports recovery, igniting a deep passion for the practice. This led her to pursue formal training in Polestar Pilates in 2017, becoming a comprehensive Pilates instructor. Tracey went on to establish a successful small business in Hong Kong, teaching both in schools and to small private groups. After moving to Brisbane, she further expanded her skills by specialising in reformer Pilates, allowing her to focus on movement rehabilitation and help her clients restore strength and mobility.
Kat brings 28 years of experience as a musculoskeletal Physiotherapist, having graduated from Otago University in New Zealand. Her career has taken her across the globe, working in New Zealand, the US, the UK, Singapore, and now Australia. After completing her Polestar Pilates training, Kat founded her own Physiotherapy and Pilates private practice in London. She has spent the last 20 years incorporating Pilates into her rehabilitation work, where the benefits of Pilates closely align with physiotherapy outcomes like pain relief, improved strength, flexibility, balance, and coordination.
Working for ourselves as Pilates instructors fuels our passion because it gives us the freedom to create a teaching approach that is unique to us. We believe in creating personal connections with our clients, understanding their individual needs, and helping them achieve their goals in a supportive and motivating environment.
